Why Not Do One Thing for Nature on Saturday December 5th? In association with BBC Breathing Places Clackmannanshire will be taking part in the nationwide 'Tree O'Clock' tree planting campaign, the aim is plant thousands of trees across the UK and all in one hour! The site we are using to plant the trees is near Alva, neighbouring Westhaugh Caravan Site. This free activity is something all the family can take part in, if you have your own gloves and spade please bring them with you, our target is 100 volunteers and 1000 trees. PLEASE NOTE There is no parking at the site, please at the new Alva Academy where a minibus service to and from the site will be available. You will need to be at Alva Academy for 10.00am in order for all the prepartions to be made. Tree planting from 11.00am to 12.00 noon |
